Today was just perfect! I cannot imagine our wedding being any better. We are both so happy and excited to finally be husband and wife. There will be LOTS of pictures soon to come!
We started the day with breakfast at the Sanford House. Then manis and pedis across the street at the salon. Then a quick lunch ordered in from Sprout’s Springroll. Then onto hair and makeup with the lovely Mrs. Sarah Cairns. It was all just a whirlwind.
Before we knew it, the photographer was there taking pictures of us getting ready. And in what seemed like a minute, it was time to get ready to walk down the aisle. I remember a specific moment when it all suddenly became real. I grabbed my phone to call my Dad to tell him we were ready for him and all the emotion just hit me like a ton of bricks.

I’m about to get married. My Dad is about to come walk me down the aisle. All this planning and preparing is about it be a real life event. All of my friends and family are right outside waiting to see me. And my fiance is about to become my husband.
So my girlfriends did what any good friends would do. They started taking pictures to make me snap out of it so I wouldn’t start crying and ruin my makeup! hehe

Of course, I didn’t keep it together for long. Before I made it to my groom, I was already crying and breaking down with the most intense feelings of happiness I have probably ever felt. Seeing all the people I love in one place – all to see Frank and I become husband and wife – was so overwhelming. And when I saw Frank, I just couldn’t hold back the emotions I felt. It was such a beautiful moment.

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful and everything I had hoped and planned for it to be. And once we were officially husband and wife, all the pressure was off and we were ready to party. The reception was great – dinner was delish, the toasts were so beautiful and heartfelt, and it was so great to see all our friends and family.
Thank you to everyone who came to see Frank and I become Mr. and Mrs. Martinez. As far as we are concerned, it was the best wedding ever, and we are so happy we were able to share such an amazing moment with so many wonderful people.
