Wow, what a day. Nothing started on time and the whole schedule was constantly being rearranged throughout the day, but we got through it with smiles on our faces, and that’s all that matters.
The rehearsal went as smoothly as it could. The officiant was a little late and everyone was having trouble focusing because they were just so happy to see each other and excited about the wedding. You really can’t be mad at that!
The dinner was held at Olenjack’s Grille in Arlington. The service was great and the food was super yummy. The highlight of the evening would have to be when Haydee and Sandy got up and reenacted the toast from the engagement party in the movie Bridesmaids. I was crying I was laughing so hard. It was just priceless and definitely a moment I will never forget!
After dinner, I said goodbye to my fiance. My cousin Tina, Haydee and I headed back to the Sanford House to get some rest before the wedding. When we got back, I noticed that I couldn’t find the key to the room. We looked all over the car, but it was already pretty dark, and we couldn’t find it anywhere. After some trial and error, we eventually talked the receptionist into letting us into the room. Haydee later found the key in the car using a flash light, but it seemed like a very fitting end to a day when nothing went quite right, but somehow still worked out just fine
