It started as a pretty average Friday night. After work, we decided to go out to dinner. It was around 10:30pm when we got home. Frank went ahead of me to let the pups outside. The weather was really nice that night, so I went out with the pups and sat down outside by the pool. The sky was very clear and the moon was reflecting off the water. Frank pulled up a chair across from me and started saying lots of nice things. “I love you so much, you mean the world to me, and you make me very happy.” I started to wonder why he was saying all these things when he said “Close your eyes. And no peeking either!”
When I opened my eyes, Frank was holding a tiny box with a little light inside and a beautiful diamond engagement ring. I said “Oh my gosh, it lights up, how did you do that?!” To which Frank replied “So, does that mean yes?” and we both laughed. “Yes, yes, of course!” I said as Frank put the ring on my finger. It was all just perfect
